2026 Rock Program Application

Welcome to the 2026 Rock Program! The application opens on Wednesday, February 25th at 9:00pm ET. If you want to take the program, submit your application no later than Monday, March 2nd at noon ET.
There is no rush to get your application in! As long as your application is submitted by the deadline, you will receive full consideration for the program.

Contact Information

The AMC Boston Mountaineering Committee does not give, rent, or sell your contact information to any other organization. At the conclusion of the program, we will add graduates to our newsletter mailing list and email list (from which you can easily unsubscribe if you wish.)

Program Date Conflicts

The dates for the 2026 program are below. Please note that attendance at Knots Night and program weekends is REQUIRED. Preference will be given to applicants who can attend all required sessions.

Knots Night (required) Thursday, April 2nd, 7-9pm
Belay & Anchors weekend (BOTH days required!) Saturday AND Sunday, April 11th AND 12th
Rappel weekend (one day of your choice required) Saturday or Sunday, April 18th or 19th
Ascend weekend (one day of your choice required) Saturday or Sunday, April 25th or 26th
Graduation weekend (one day of your choice required) Saturday or Sunday, May 2rd or 3rd

Joining with someone else?

If you want to take the program with a spouse, friend, etc., you can link your applications together. We will observe these groupings during the admissions process; in other words, two people with linked applications will either both be accepted or both not accepted. No preference will be given to either solo applications or linked applications.

Note that all linked applications must list each other's names to be linked together! (That is, if you list someone's name here, they must also list your name on their application.)
